Condolences to Earthquake in Kumamoto and Announcement of holing the 63rd Annual Meeting of JSA

First of all, on behalf of Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists, we would like to pray sincerely for the repose of those who perished in the disaster,
and to extend our deepest sympathy to all the peoples who have suffered in disaster areas. We deeply hope to the disaster areas will be reconstructed as soon as possible.

In the face of this unprecedented crisis, we have reviewed how we should contribute to society as anesthesiologists.
As a result, it is concluded that what is required of us now is to hold the meeting at a reasonably manageable level for sharing and disseminating accurate information on specialized academic field.

Therefore we would like to announce that the 63rd annual meeting of Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists will be held as scheduled.
